Chicago Café belongs to the latter.
Back in 2022, while Sacred Sonance and Baba Nikki were studying music production together, every class began with the same ritual. Before opening a DAW or talking about sound design, they would stop at Chicago Café for tea, snacks, and long conversations about music, frequencies, and whatever inspiration found them that day.
Those moments became just as important as the lessons themselves.
On December 5, 2022, after one of those sessions, they returned home carrying a spark that refused to fade. Without overthinking it, they opened a new project with a simple intention—to merge two distinct creative minds into something neither could have created alone.
Within an hour, the foundation of the track was complete.
Raw. Unfiltered. Instinctive.
Then the project disappeared into silence.
Untouched for nearly four years.
When Sacred Sonance unexpectedly rediscovered the forgotten session, the memories came flooding back. Rather than rewriting its past, the decision was made to complete its journey—expanding the original idea with deeper textures, refined production, and fresh arrangements while preserving the spirit captured during that first spontaneous session.
Chicago Café is more than just a track.
It's a snapshot of friendship, shared obsession, creative momentum, and a place that quietly became part of their musical journey.
